1. General information

These Terms and Conditions regulate access to mapadelavida.com, as well as the purchase and use of the products and services offered through the site.

The site is operated by PARA EL ALMA LLC, hereinafter, “Mapa de la Vida”, “we” or “the person responsible”.

By browsing the site, making a purchase or requesting the preparation of an Birth Chart, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the service.

2. Service Description

Mapa de la Vida offers the development and delivery of personalized astrological interpretations based on the information provided by the user.

The product may include:

  • Representation of the Birth Chart or natal map.
  • Interpretation of aspects of personality.
  • Exploration of the emotional world.
  • Reflections on talents and abilities.
  • Interpretation of bonds and relationships.
  • Exploration of challenges, trends and patterns.
  • Content related to purpose, vocation and personal growth.
  • Other content expressly indicated on the purchase page.

The exact content and scope of the product will be those published on mapadelavida.com at the time of purchase.

The product is delivered in digital format and is personalized with the data provided by the buyer.

3. Nature of astrological interpretation

The Birth Chart is a tool for astrological interpretation, reflection and self-knowledge.

It is not:

  • A tarot reading.
  • A mechanism to predict the future with certainty.
  • A randomly generated result.
  • A witchcraft practice.
  • A form of communication with spirits.
  • A medical or psychological diagnosis.
  • A scientific assessment of personality.
  • A guarantee of future events or results.

The interpretation uses the date, time and place of birth provided by the user to construct an astrological representation of the sky corresponding to that moment.

The content must be understood as a symbolic and reflective tool. Each person is responsible for interpreting and using the information according to their own judgment.

4. Information provided by the user

To prepare the Birth Chart, we can request:

  • Name.
  • Birthdate.
  • Time of birth.
  • City and country of birth.
  • Email.
  • Telephone number.
  • Information necessary to process and deliver the purchase.

The user declares that the information provided is correct and that they have authorization to provide data from another person when requesting a study on their behalf.

The accuracy of the time and place of birth may affect certain elements of the map, particularly the ascendant, houses, and other calculations dependent on that data.

Mapa de la Vida will not be responsible for differences, errors or limitations in interpretation that originate from incorrect, incomplete or imprecise information provided by the user.

Before confirming the purchase, the user must carefully review the data entered.

5. Purchases and payments

The applicable prices will be those shown on mapadelavida.com or on the payment page at the time of purchase.

Before confirming the payment, the user will be able to consult:

  • Price.
  • Currency.
  • Applicable taxes, where applicable.
  • Content included.
  • Estimated delivery method.
  • Estimated delivery time.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Mapa de la Vida does not directly store the user’s full card numbers, security codes or banking credentials.

The user is responsible for providing valid billing information and using a payment method for which they have authorization.

A purchase will be considered confirmed when the payment provider authorizes the transaction.

6. Preparation and delivery

Once payment has been confirmed and all the necessary data has been received, the process of creating the personalized product will begin.

The Birth Chart will be delivered through the channel informed during the purchase, which may be email, WhatsApp, download link or other digital means previously indicated.

The estimated delivery time will be the one reported on the purchase page. This period can begin once:

  • Payment has been confirmed.
  • Birth information is complete.
  • There are no doubts or inconsistencies that require user confirmation.

The communicated deadlines are estimates, unless expressly indicated otherwise.

The user is responsible for verifying:

  • Their inbox.
  • Spam folders.
  • The telephone number provided.
  • The availability of the chosen channel.

If the user does not receive the product within the reported period, they must contact info@paraelalma.co.

7. Personalized digital products

The Birth Chart is prepared specifically with the data provided for each person. For this reason, it is a personalized digital product that cannot be resold or repurposed as if it were a generic product.

Once processing has begun, it may not be possible to cancel or modify the request.

If the user detects an error in the data after making the purchase, they must report it immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to correct them if processing has not already begun.

If the product was already generated with the data originally provided, the creation of a new version may require an additional payment.

8. Cancellations, corrections and refunds

The user may request cancellation before the production of the personalized product begins.

Once processing has started or completed, purchases may not be refundable due to the digital and personalized nature of the product, without prejudice to the non-waivable rights that correspond to the consumer according to applicable legislation.

Requests related to:

  • Duplicate charges.
  • Product not delivered.
  • Damaged or inaccessible file.
  • Error attributable to Mapa de la Vida.
  • Substantial differences between the product delivered and the description published at the time of purchase.

Errors caused by an incorrect date, time, city or country provided by the user are not considered errors attributable to Mapa de la Vida.

Requests must be sent to info@paraelalma.co, indicating the name used in the purchase, the associated email or telephone number and the information necessary to locate the order.

Each request will be assessed on its circumstances and in accordance with applicable law.

9. Responsible use

The user agrees to use the site and the content in a lawful, personal and respectful manner.

Not allowed:

  • Use the site for fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to access systems or information without authorization.
  • Interfere with the operation of the site.
  • Copy, extract or automate content in bulk.
  • Resell the product without authorization.
  • Present the content as a professional diagnosis.
  • Use an Birth Chart to discriminate, harass or harm another person.
  • Provide third party data without having a legitimate basis or authorization.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Alter the product to attribute misleading statements to Mapa de la Vida.

We may restrict access when we detect fraud, abuse, breaches of these terms or risks to the security of the service.

10. Personal decisions and limitation of liability

The information contained in an Birth Chart does not replace:

  • Psychological or psychiatric care.
  • Legal advice.
  • Financial advice.
  • Professional advice.
  • Emergency care.

The user should not make medical, psychological, legal, financial or safety decisions based solely on astrological interpretation.

Mapa de la Vida does not guarantee:

  • Absolute accuracy of an interpretation.
  • Full compatibility with user beliefs.
  • Personal changes.
  • Sentimental results.
  • Labor results.
  • Economic results.
  • Future events.
  • That the user identifies with each part of the content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mapa de la Vida will not be responsible for decisions, actions, losses or consequences arising from the user’s subjective use of the product.

Nothing in these terms excludes liabilities that cannot be limited by law.

11. Site availability

We may temporarily update, suspend or modify the site for technical, operational, legal or security reasons.

We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted at all times. However, we will use reasonable efforts to keep it available and protect the proper provision of the service.

Temporary interruptions of the site will not affect the rights related to already confirmed purchases.

12. Intellectual property

The design, texts, interpretations, illustrations, graphics, documents, visual identity, software and other materials offered by Mapa de la Vida are the property of PARA EL ALMA LLC or used with the corresponding licenses.

The purchase grants the user a personal, limited and non-exclusive license to view and retain their product.

The purchase does not transfer intellectual property rights nor authorize:

  • Commercial reproduction.
  • Resale.
  • Massive distribution.
  • Complete publication.
  • Modification to create derivative products.
  • Removal of property notices.
  • Use of the Mapa de la Vida visual identity.

The user can share fragments of their own Birth Chart for personal purposes, as long as they do not commercialize it or present it as their own creation.

13. Minors

Purchases must be made by people with legal capacity to contract or by a responsible adult.

When the Birth Chart corresponds to a minor, the request must be made or authorized by their father, mother, guardian or legal representative.

We do not seek to intentionally collect data from minors without appropriate authorization.

The site may contain links or integrations with third-party providers, such as payment, messaging, analytics or hosting platforms.

Each third party may apply its own terms and policies. Mapa de la Vida does not control the content or practices of external sites, although we try to work with appropriate providers to operate the service.

15. Modifications

We may modify these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in:

  • The service.
  • The suppliers.
  • Legislation.
  • Security practices.
  • The purchasing and delivery processes.

The current version will be published on this page with its update date.

The changes will not retroactively alter the essential conditions of an already confirmed purchase, unless necessary by legal obligation.

16. Legislation and jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in Medellín, Colombia, without prejudice to the mandatory rights that correspond to the consumer in their place of residence.

Any dispute will be addressed initially through direct contact and in good faith.

When it is not possible to reach a solution, the authorities or courts determined by the applicable legislation will be competent.

17. Divisibility

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
